Aktuelle Diskussion über den Versuch WLAN über einen WLAN USB-Stick zu ermöglichen gibt es im MotorolaFans.com Forum unter A780 -> "internet over wireless lan? :D"

momentanes Problem dabei ist: - USB Chipsatz arbeitet im Clientmodus

"Pxa processor can switch usb relatively easy, but moto put a tranceiver in front of it and we have not much information about that ic at this time. If the tranceiver handles automatically client/host mode, we may have to deactivate de usbd interface and set the pxa regs to host mode. Kernel shows how to activate the transceiver for usb/uart modes(the code is in the misc driver section hehe), but it doesn't comment on usb modes..."

The schematics we have of a780/e680 have a few diferences, aparently the usbc(port2 differential io) is connected direct with the pcap output in e680, not in 780. If the host mode thru pcap don't work, e680 may have another try, a780 will be unluck"
